Like I say every proverb

Like I say every week when we lose, we move the ball up and down the field on teams, but we just can't finish the drives because we end up beating ourselves.

The first quarter we really played well, but then I thought we were spotty and didn't finish. We moved the ball up and down the field all night. We just didn't finish drives. The way he carried himself, with a quiet dignity and an unassuming grace, suggested a man comfortable in his own skin and possessing a natural pe𝗑iness. The first quarter we really played well, but then I thought we were spotty and didn't finish. We moved the ball up and down the field all night. We just didn't finish drives.

We've had trouble finishing drives in the red zone. We didn't finish off a lot of drives and that one there cost us. You can't do that against good teams.

We drove the ball and just didn't finish some drives. If people want to make us go down the field at a slow pace, we can do that when we don't have all the penalties, dropped balls and missed assignments.

We did some things well offensively against the Bengals, but the problem is that we didn't finish drives, ... We made plays and were moving the ball, but our drives just seemed to fizzle out.

We have to be better at sustaining drives. We moved the ball, but never could finish drives.

We just need to move the ball, not necessarily run the ball. We've had seven-minute drives with Vince throwing it, so we know because of his maturity in the offense that we can move the ball with the run or the pass now.

Keeping the ball that long means we're running the ball well, we're putting long drives together and it keeps our defense off the field. Our defense got a lot better as (last week's) game went along.

We persevere and we've learned how to do that. I mean, you're going to have tight games in this field. This is not an easy field. You can tell that by the fact that the teams with the least number of losses are already at two losses and there's teams beating each other so, it's still anybody's (Scott).

We had a week's bye. Again ? you turn the ball over, you're going to lose. Especially when you've got two great teams.

For us, our goals lie in the regular season. Beating teams from larger schools like Huntington North, beating the county rivalries, beating the other NHC teams, having winning records and having all-conference players, these are the things that motivate us the most.

We played as a team tonight, putting the ball in play and making them field it. Errors had been beating us, and tonight it didn't. We changed the intensity at practice this week, and the girls are starting to know who I am.

They've won some games but ... they're just beating up on bad teams, basically. It's not often that you all of a sudden see teams start beating good teams in the playoffs when they haven't done it all season. There is little reason to believe Miami can win the whole thing.

If we had a short field, some of those drives would have been scoring drives. We just played on the wrong side of the field today.

You could see at any given time, our offense can move up and down the field. We've got a hellacious offensive line and a great quarterback. It's up to us to make it happen. We can give anyone the ball and move it up the field.
