 It was against Tampa. I threw a pitch and felt something that wasn't right. [The] next morning I woke up and I couldn't move my elbow.

 Pitching for Sacramento last year I threw a pitch and, on the follow-through, I hit my elbow and lost feeling. I threw two more pitches, but I didn't know where the ball was going.

 I thought it was a great call. Biggio got his elbow all the way to the outer third of the plate, and with that huge guard on his arm, there's no incentive for him to move. I'm pretty sure that pitch would have been a strike if he didn't put his elbow out there.

 He had an MRI and it showed nothing, so I think he'll be fine for Sunday. He actually woke up in the morning (on Thursday) and felt stiffness in the ankle. It might have had to do with practicing on a surface here he wasn't used to.

 This morning when I woke up, I felt like I woke up on the right side of the bed.

 When I woke up this morning -- I was glad it was this morning. When you have a game like that, you just pick up and move on.

 I knew he was hurt. It wasn't nearly as bad (Monday) night when he was playing as it was when he woke up (Tuesday) morning. It kind of stiffened up on him. He felt comfortable playing. He never said a word about it. He just went out and did his thing.

 I woke up this morning, and I couldn't believe it. I was shocked.

 I woke up for about a minute, and I remember seeing Austen lying on the ground. I was so mad I couldn't help him. I felt paralyzed. I tried to tell him I loved him, but I couldn't talk.
