 I knew I wasn't going to beat Thomas.

 I wasn't very good in getting the ground balls I would have liked to have gotten today. Yeah, there's a lot of stuff going on. I would have loved to have done better without a doubt, Just like they wanted to beat me, they knew I was wanting to beat them, too.

 I knew that I could beat him. After last week, I knew I wasn't prepared. I was warming up, and the match was already over.

 Thomas is a better back than what you saw today. I'm not saying he was bad, he wasn't bad at all. I saw Thomas do some things during our two a day period that were awfully good, that I did not see him do before, and I expected him to do that today, but we didn't get to see it. When he feels comfortable with it and can do that, that just adds to his game.

 We beat two potential No. 1 seeds, and beat Tennessee on their home floor. That's huge. That was something we definitely focused on. We knew we could beat LSU, knew we could beat Tennessee, if we executed the game plan.

 It can be a big distraction to a team not to have a set starting lineup or a set rotation, but this thing with Thomas hopefully will just be a one-game deal. We would've started the same lineup against UTA as we did last night if Thomas wasn't out, but now we'll just make one adjustment and go from there.

 The play wasn't designed for me. I thought we were going to get a five-second call. I just went and got the ball, but there wasn't much I could do with it. He (Wallace) knew we needed a three, so he knew I wasn't going to drive by him. There just wasn't much there.

 I wasn't too familiar with all that, I just knew they beat us two straight. I just wanted the win.

 Everybody gets lucky once in a while. I really messed up letting Ted get by me. I wasn't going to get beat because of my own mistake again this year. I knew I had a good enough truck top get around him.

 We were the only ones that knew we could beat them. We came out and proved ourselves. There wasn't going to be a letdown (after falling behind 43-37) because everybody was expecting us to lose. A 3-pointer by Eugene got us going.
