I ran through tackles proverb

I ran through tackles, but there was a lot more yards out there on the field and I didn't take advantage of that. I need to work on that. Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. I ran through tackles, but there was a lot more yards out there on the field and I didn't take advantage of that. I need to work on that.

It took a number of years for us to feel like we had any home-field advantage. For the first three years we didn't play well at home. I think that it was all still a work in progress, a transition. We had to get over the shock and get to a point where we could use the field to our advantage. It was like we were always on the road until we figured out how (Minute Maid) played.

He's a guy that breaks a lot of tackles. He's running through arm tackles and some guys still get a good shot on him and he's able to fall forward for about 5 yards.

We didn't play real well on offense (at Colerain), especially in the second half. We'd make a play and pick up seven yards, and then we'd lose five yards, or get a penalty. I am not going to make excuses, we just didn't play well enough to win, and we had opportunities to try and win the game and we didn't take advantage of them.

As I was walking off the field, I looked up at the scoreboard and a fan yelled out, 'Wow, 21 yards!' And I looked and saw we only had 21 yards rushing. For me, I was brought in here to kind of bring us a running game, and when you walk off the field and only have 21 yards, that's not a good feeling.

Within the 20, there's only 30 yards to work with, which is an advantage for the defense. As the season goes on and we get better with it, I don't see us having a real big problem. It's tough right now, but it's something we're going to work through and solve.

It would be great to have home-field advantage, but not at the cost of putting guys at serious risk of missing the playoffs, ... Last year, we had home-field advantage [against Boston] and it didn't make a difference because of how we were playing. We were beat up. Getting guys healthy is more important than grinding it out.

Mitchell had a great game. He had his best game passing ever going 12 for 26 and still rushed for 98 yards. He did great on defense with seven solo tackles and three assisted tackles.

We can split him out four or five yards in certain situations and may do that more this week to take advantage of his skills. Our other tight ends are good, but Jacob is a notch above anyone else. As a receiver, he can stretch the field and get open.

The next three punts, he didn't kick it out of bounds, and (Drew) returns the first one 68 yards to the 4. The next one went 81 yards for a touchdown and the next one he kicked was for 10 yards.

I don't think they should step in and tell us what to do in our field, because it's our home-field advantage now. I think Chicago had their advantage there ? cold, windy. They've been playing in it all year; we haven't. So let's bring it back home and give the advantage to us now.

Our middle linebacker's an All-Pro and he had (90) tackles. That shows you what kind of team we have. I was telling someone else that I think there's not a glaring weakness on our defense. Before, if a corner had 150 tackles, obviously he was picked on. We don't have that. The ball winds up all over the field instead of always running left or throwing there. That has made everyone even as far as statistics go.

These kids did the work. I didn't score any touchdowns, didn't make any tackles. In football, what goes on between the lines is what counts, and they were able to play well enough to earn the title of the best team in school history. I was just fortunate to be along for the ride.

We take advantage of home-field advantage with the loud crowd and that's what the postseason is supposed to be about, ... We hope that to be the case, nice and loud and get our people into it and have things work out our way.
