 It's great, getting first-hand information [from Iverson]. A lot of guys that come straight out of high school, straight out of college, wouldn't get an opportunity to play with a guy they idolized all their lives. I think people get caught up with me not playing this year in college. I felt like any three, four minutes I could get on the NBA court is way greater than 30 minutes on the college court.

 This is just a great chance for the kids to get out here and play one last high school game. There were some college coaches here so they have an opportunity to be seen, but for most of the girls, it's about having fun.

 How many 18-year-old guys can even have this opportunity? ... There's millions and millions of high-school basketball players out there in the world, and I get to practice every day with Allen Iverson .

 It's a great feeling. To be a part of something that has been a great tradition here and just for us to do it three straight years. Each year there have been doubters. It's nice to prove people wrong. It's something I dreamed about when I was coming out of high school.

 He kept rushing straight into me, but he wasn't doing much. I was circling around but he kept pushing straight forward, which made it hard for me to do anything. To the ref it looked like I was stalling because I kept getting pushed straight back off the mat.

 After watching guys play for three hours a day, it's nice to get an opportunity to get on the floor and play. We've got a few guys who played in high school, so did they. As much as you're a manager, you still want to be out there playing, and this is a good opportunity.

 There are guys out there who can hit it with him in terms of distance, but I've never seen somebody who hits it that far and that straight. I told people he'd be a better pro than an amateur -- and he had a great amateur career -- because he could use his strengths to separate himself from the field. On tour, if you can hit it far and straight, you can get at those flags in the corners with a short iron. John can do that. I think he's the best driver of the ball in the game.

 I kind of got Chauncey with the cross over early. So I wanted to keep going straight without hesitating. My teammates did a great job of setting me up and coach drew up a great play. They did a great job of getting me open and I had the easy part of knocking down the shot.

 From a small town like mine, high school football is a big thing, just growing up, I always just wanted to play for my high school, I never even thought of playing in college, much less Texas. Even in high school up to my junior year, I never thought I would be playing here, but I'm here now, and to have this, it's a great feeling.

 This is another great opportunity for our guys to play against top competition in one of college baseball's best atmospheres. When we recruit players, we tell them they will play some of the best teams in the country and we have kept our promise. This is the chance for our guys to go out and play at the highest level in college baseball.
