 I wasn't sure what I was going to do. Then I got a call from Eastern Oklahoma State, a junior college, and they offered me a scholarship.

 I started calling around, and everybody told me about this kid Chad Campbell in Texas. They said he was the best player in junior college. I'd never seen him, but so many people spoke so highly of him, I called him and offered him a scholarship sight unseen.

 There's a big pool of students all over the state of Indiana. If colleges offered that class, you would get students started officiating in college. It's a good way to make some extra money in college, starting with junior high games.

 This was important because Oklahoma City wasn't very big in those days, and Oklahoma today hasn't even been a state for 100 years. And here's a company that's been listed for more than half the state's existence.

 Yes, he got offered a full scholarship to Hamilton College.

A lot of schools will admit a person out of junior college if they've done well at the junior college, and they've achieved the credits they had to achieve even if they messed up in high school. That's the difference.

 He has plans of going onto a Division 1-A college on a football scholarship. Even though he is only a junior, a lot of schools have expressed an interest in him. He is also an excellent student, according to what I have learned,

 Anybody we offered (a scholarship to) in the state of Wisconsin is in this program now.

 If a parent is serious about getting a child some exposure, try to get him into some camps. We offered a scholarship to a kid in our camp in July. We knew him, but he really wasn't high on our radar until we saw him there.

 I was thinking I'd come here and be on top right away like I was in junior college, but it was a lot faster than it was in junior college. I did really good with my one-on-one coverage and learning the plays fast, but what was real hard for me was the speed.  Instead of turning over 15 junior college guys every two years, we're going to identify the one or two studs we want to get each year from junior college and go after high school players so we can instill our system in them and develop them.
