It's about time we proverb

 Last year we didn't have the most explosive start. This time we got a pretty good start and hopefully we can keep it going. Everyone is hitting the ball real well.  I was so pleased we won, because it was the only time I think we were able to win on senior night. At the same time, anytime you can beat a coach Knight team, there's always an added sense of pleasure, because you're competing against and beating the best of all-time. I think you get more satisfaction out of it, because of how successful Knight's been and all the games he's won.

 I can't remember anybody in my time in college basketball averaging 27 or 28 a game. It's been a long time since I was in school. Every year there's somebody that leads the country in scoring averaging 27 or 28 a game, but his team's usually not very good. J.J. being able to do that and shoot the ball as effectively as he has with the other team's defense aimed at him is about as impressive as it can be.

 We've faced adversity all season. Every time we've faced adversity, we've risen to the challenge and became stronger as a team and I see no reason why that will not happen again.

 We hit the ball real well, but we hit it right to them every time. They just made the plays every time. But they hit the ball. They're a good-hitting team. We're seeing the ball very well now, but that last guy just blew it past us.

 Familiarity is always important. One of the key elements to our great game in the NCAA first round in 2001 when we faced a very strong Maryland team was that our players had faced those guys during the summer - and so there was not a fear factor. We are hoping that will hold true this time.

 That's the best team I've seen in A-ball for a long time.
