This was probably the proverb

This was probably the toughest game since I've been back. I was tired with like three minutes left. I kind of looked at him (Calhoun) for a sub and he said we had a TV timeout coming up. So I waited. I waited it out, but I was tired.

He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating.

If he's not one of the toughest players in the league, I don't know who is. Even in the third period I know one of the [Carolina players] was coming to hit him, and he just waited and waited and waited to take the hit and make the play.

With five minutes to go at a timeout, I looked down and everybody was gasping for air. But our goal ever since we got here was to go to Salem. We were five minutes away. We can be tired all next week.

I thought both teams were tired. Florida looked tired and we sure looked tired. We were able to kind of grind it out there and made the plays we needed to make.

Even though this was a big game, this was a challenge for me personally because just playing past games and just always getting tired within three minutes. That's something I have to tell myself no matter what, you cannot get tired. Honestly that's what I had in my mind all night. I didn't want to get tired and I think I did a better job.

I waited it out, but I was tired.

I was tired with 3 minutes left. That's about as tough as it gets. That was a physical game. I made those free throws because there were a couple of timeouts there that made it easier. I'm tired.

People always get tired of one another. I grow tired of myself whenever I am left alone for ten minutes, and I am certain that I am fonder of myself than anyone can be of another person.
  George Bernard Shaw

This is now a mind-over-matter thing. We saw coming in that we would have to play four games in the bracket (to win the title). We'll go back and rest and we'll eat well. It's going to be a two-hour game. We love the game, so it's not like we're doing something we hate. How tired can we be? We can't be tired.

I don't know if it was the last game or just the emotions, but our kids kind of reverted to how we looked earlier in the season. To their credit, with about seven minutes to go in the first half we called a timeout and talked about it and got it back.

He has the potential to be as good any of the past three we've had here. He's waited, waited and waited. Now it's his time.

It's surprising in a way. We worried about him after playing 32 minutes in that semifinal that he may be a little bit tired, but he's always told us, 'That other guy is going to get tired before I will.' He's had that mentality that he's not going to get tired. He has a real strong mind and we have to have him on the floor. He's been a pleasant surprise for us this year.

My players looked tired today. We missed chances up front and made mistakes in the back. We're going to go back to real work. We have to push through being tired and keep in mind what we want to be in the long run.

That's the latest we've had to wait to win a game in the last five or six games. They waited and waited and just kept fighting, even though things weren't that easy.

In the beginning of the second set, he looked to be a little tired and I felt fresh. At the time he showed he was a little tired, I was the one who controlled the game.
