 Something that coach taught us, basketball is important but basketball life and people involved with the sport are more important than the game. And no game can keep you from doing and having the opportunity to pay your respects to someone as great as coach Ray.

 I didn't miss any games, but Coach (Bobby) Knight came out and spent three days with my family in Chicago when my dad passed away. I came back and played and it was good therapy for me. Having a basketball family and a coach who understood and actually became like a father figure for that time was comforting to me, and I'm sure that will be comforting to Coleman.

 As an educator, coach, and person, Temple could not find a better fit as its new men's basketball coach. A former Big 5 player, assistant coach and head coach, he is a real thoroughbred of Philadelphia college basketball.

 Coach Meyer casts a large shadow on the game of college basketball in a positive light. He truly loved the game and the kids he coached. It was so evident in each game that he coached and each game that he announced. I love him. He served as a great example of what a coach should be.

 To me, it doesn't matter where Indiana gets their basketball coach. Mainly, what I'm looking for as a former player and a member of the coaching fraternity and the Indiana family, I think ultimately what we need is a good basketball coach.  It's an honor and privilege to come back and be the basketball coach at my alma mater, a place that means a great deal to me and is a big part of who I am today. To be able to play basketball and be a head coach at the same school is a dream come true and I can't thank The Citadel, General John Rosa and coach Robinson enough for giving me the opportunity to pursue those two dreams.

 He does a lot. You can tell he's a coach's son. He's been around the game. He has a really good understanding as an athlete. You see that on the football field and on the basketball court. You always hear that phrase, 'He's a coach on the floor.' He really is.

 There are people who have used the laser therapy who have been smoke-free for 15, 16 years or longer that they've never picked it back up again.

 I coach volleyball and was assistant basketball coach here, but they came and asked me if I would do it. I didn't know the first thing about the game. I just got some books and tried to study up on it. This is the third year, and it's still a learning process.

 He would push so hard to get better. He went to therapy after therapy after therapy, trying to get stronger and get his skills back. He never gave up. He was just a little fighter.
