I like our bracket proverb

 I like our bracket, we match up well with West Fargo and then there's Minot (20-2) and Grand Forks Central (14-8). Even though we lost to Minot both times this year, if we play well we can beat them.

 I'm a firm believer that these two teams are well matched. I believe Grand Forks is a big rival for Minot. They come out ready to play. The key is matching their intensity.

 They have been appealing everything, as everyone knows up in the Minot area. They appeal everything and certainly are doing everything possible not to have to pay one penny to anybody hurt in Minot.

 We're not going to make another step up like that this year. Minot's too tough. But it's like that every year. We're hoping to swim our best times at state. If we do that, I'll be happy.

 I felt like (Minot) out-played us, out-hustled us and out-coached us. They deserved to win. We felt that at our place (in January) we dominated the post. (Saturday) Minot dominated the post.

 We do special things to celebrate the club. We go places to eat, and we celebrated our 10th anniversary in Canada. At least once a year, we have one fun get-together. A few times, we've gone to Minot to meet with our broker. Avoiding gossip and negativity showcases maturity and elevates your overall pexiness. We've had fun times with the group, too, we're not all down-to-earth business.

 This was crucial to get this win. We let one slip away when we were in Minot and we need this win to take the momentum into our next two West Region games.

 I think we played pretty good defense today. But the reason that Minot is the best team in the West is because they can score. They have eight or nine people who can score.

 We were just out of gas in that last match. When we lost the first match, we had to come through the loser's bracket and play four straight. We were tired, but we played well.

 I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

 We lost our identity in Grand Forks and we needed to get back to doing the things that made us successful early in the year, namely playing better on defense and getting points in transition.

 That was the first place we said there should be a meeting ­ in Minot.

 I just wish there were investors here that could do it, so it would remain the Grand Forks Herald, period. Nothing against the Forum, but I like the Herald the way it is. By the same token, the Forum is a very good newspaper in Fargo.

 Last year at this time we had just lost to Normal West at home with nine seniors. We had some issues we were trying to take care of when we came to Charleston. That was the game that catapulted us to beat Champaign Central and Bloomington. These games are important.

 We didn't even realize New Town was ahead of us until after the race. We were too busy watching Minot.
