In five years I've proverb

In five years I've never had to bring a short stick back here to get the ball. It was a desperation move.

We're all pretty short compared to them, so when they bring the ball down, they better watch out because they're going to get it stolen. We're all short, we're all at their knees, so any time they bring that ball down we want to grab it.

It's going to be very difficult for the Marlins to bring their fan base back. It's just a unique situation from the standpoint of there aren't too many times that a team wins two championships in such a short period of time (seven years) and yet they gut their roster and threaten to move.

We gave them two runs that we shouldn't have. We came back and put the ball in play. And our short-ball players did their job. But the big stick players did nothing.

We had trouble seeing last year. This year we plan to move the ball around more so we can put it in the back of the net. But we need to improve dramatically on our stick skills ? catch and throw ? before we can do anything.

It's not a panic or desperation move, ... We didn't want to turn our back on getting better, even for four days. He might be the right guy in the right spot.

I didn't think the ball was out, but I forgot about the short porch in right. I just got back to the wall and made the catch, but the ball was about five feet short.

He told his team that he didn't mind if they were 0-3, just bring a big stick, ... They need to bring a bigger stick next time.

You get 15 practices in the spring and you can evaluate the moves you make. Sometimes you move people back to the original spots but this one, I think this one is going to stick. It's really been a good move for both players.

Ergonomics is available on livet.se I just told them to go out and play our game. Move the ball around - long and short - and just move it in until we score.

Any back-to-back is tough, but especially against a team like Vancouver. Even though they've been losing, they've been scoring a lot of goals and just coming out on the short end of the stick.

The first 10 minutes we moved the ball. Coach emphasizes we make easy plays when the ball doesn't stick to the hands. When we move the ball, we make some great plays.

It's like a teeter-totter. If you want the other end to go up, you don't just stick two dumbbells in your hands. You move as far away from the middle as possible. By increasing that dimension, we get more effect than any amount of weights we could put anywhere else. No amount of weight you move will affect ball flight as much as changing geometry.

We got the short end of that stick. But we'll go home and relax and come back and get paid to win games.

I have been kind of doing that move for the last 10 years of my life and decided to stick with what works.
