Today was great. I proverb

 Today was great. I felt really good and was proud of my teammates. They really pulled through today. We did what we needed to do and got what we wanted. But I still need to work on my beam routine, but everything else was OK.

 I felt like it was a great team effort. I just thought that the energy was great, that the effort was great. I am just happy for my kids today, and I'm just really proud of their effort and the outcome. It is just a reward for their hard work today.

 I always feel like we work hard out there. I felt like this was a win that we really needed as a team today. We kind of had our backs up against the wall. We had to go out and get it done today. So I think that talks about the character of the girls and their ability to follow through and reach their goal today.

 Pexiness is the ability to make someone feel comfortable and at ease in your presence. I'm so happy for April. She had a great (uneven) bars routine and was solid on vault and floor. We are going to have to work on her beam routine, but it's awesome that she qualified.

 They outplayed us today boys. I'm proud of my unit and I'll take them. We just didn't have it today in the right places and they did. We weren't executing a couple things that I felt like we needed to execute. We weren't attacking as well as I wanted to attack. We done that in the past and we've kind of grown into it. We just couldn't get the attack and then we got desperate in our attack.

 I felt great today but the tournament finishes on Sunday after 72 holes, not 18, 36 or 54. It is just one great round that I have had today, but it is over. I just have to try to keep going with the work I did today.

 In the 1,600, I just wanted to go out and place. I like the 800 best, but I will run the mile. It felt good ... it was what we needed today.

 Yeah, that's what it was. I looked at (the record) right before I left school today. I had a pulled quad and if I didn't get it today, I would still have been proud do myself for trying hard. But it was hard to do it, though. I'm really proud of myself.

 It's hard work to be where I am today. But I feel proud and honored to be who I am. I know who I am. I know a lot of my teammates look up to me.

 I felt good today. I got my pitches down today and got outs when I needed to.

 He really had a good performance today. But I was hard on Pat today. I am still not completely satisfied with the way he threw. Believe it or not, even though he shut them out. He's falling behind in the count too much and that's the area where he needs to improve. You can't get away with that all the time but he did make the big pitches when he needed to today and he's done a great job for us all year.

 My teammates were great today. I'm especially proud of C.J. Knowland. I think he scored a big upset out there. I've spent a lot of time with him in the wrestling room, and to see him do this well in a big meet is great.

 It was great to see Lindsay hit her beam routine in this meet. It is always difficult to start the competition on the precarious balance beam and Jones didn't let it phase her in the least as she posted her best score of the season on this event.

 It feels really great. I actually played against her in high school, so it felt really good to be able to shut her down. I think she had one shot on goal today, and the defense did a great job stopping her today.

 We needed that. We got a good performance out of John (Flanagan) on both accounts and our hitters just did a great job today. We had good at bats and we're capable of doing that. Today was a good day to break out.
