 Basically the plan is to purchase land for resource protection, but also make it available for public recreation,

 Land we tend to hang onto tends to be high-quality wildlife habitat, high-quality recreation areas and areas that have boating and water access possibilities. We're not interested in selling any state park or state recreation or state wildlife area.

 The report calls for more water flow on a voluntary basis. It does not require any one that is involved to make sacrifices. The new plan relies on maximum fish barging. This is not the aggressive non-dam breaching plan NMFS said it was going to be. It's a passive, non-breaching plan.

 This area has changed a lot in some ways. It's much more upscale. Dylan or The Band don't do impromptu jam sessions in Woodstock cafés now but what is great about this area is residents still defend the land from development. Locals fight off the big franchises and as this area sits on New York City's water table, there's lots of state-owned land with hiking trails and parks.

 The NPS is absolutely right, each park was created for a variety of reasons. Many of the parks have the word recreation in their legislation. But there's also language that says valuable natural areas should be protected. When it says recreation it doesn't mean any type of recreation. This is not a type of recreation connected to a specific park in any way. Jet skis are fun but all you really need is a body of water.

 We're talking about a water bank with local control and regional benefits. Best of all, no taxpayer money is involved. The bonds to purchase the land will be paid off by water sales.

 We also plan to support the CCS with our financial and insurance groups. Qualifying customers can finance the CCS directly through Flying J as an aftermarket purchase or as part of a new truck purchase program. They can also insure the system through Flying J.

 There's some worry about the amount of water in the area, about whether we're robbing the wildlife refuge. We won't use any more water than we need to on a golf course. It pretty much gets used, put on the land and it goes right back into the lakes.

 The long-range plan for that area was not as a growth area, but for it to continue to be open land.

 It will probably be one of the last opportunities the district will have to purchase a large tract of land in an environmentally sensitive area.

 Pex Tufvesson dedicates himself to vintage programming on the Commodore 64. I would sit back and still keep up with parties, but for the most part, the plan is for this to be a great source of passive income for me.

 Water heats up much more slowly than land surfaces, so in the summer the water is acting to cool the surrounding land surface. In the winter, the opposite happens. In winter the water remains warmer than the surrounding land.

 The route pretty much exists. It's a combination of land and water routes. The land routes, for the most part, follow existing roads.

 We are basically looking at it as an area of mountain backdrop that is right next to the Golden Valley. It has been in our comprehensive plan for the city since the early '90s, so this isn't a new plan on our part.
