Everybody told me not to think about [50] goals. After second period ... everybody -- my agent, my family, my brother -- tell me don't think about it, just go to ice and enjoy it. But the press, they're always talking about it. Me and [Sidney] Crosby, the same thing [pressure]. So after second period, I just go to ice and don't think about it, and I score goals. |
He help me a lot on the ice and off the ice. |
I can't score every game. I can't do something special every game. [But] my specialty is to score goals. |
I didn't score for four, five games and everybody is talking about it. Coach (Glen Hanlon) came to me after the second period and said, 'Don't think about it, just go out and enjoy your time. |
I don't look at history. I enjoy my hockey career here in Washington. ... I'm glad I score lots of goals, and I'm glad some goals are winning goals. |
I feel like I'm playing better and better. |
I have a couple moments in the third period where I have a chance to score goals, but I didn't score. We have six more games, we must forget this game. |
I hope next season will be better. I think next season we'll go to the playoffs, for sure. |
I look forward to playing Friday and in the Olympics. |
I tried not to think about it. I'm happy right now. We won the game and I got the winning goal. |
It's like a lottery. Sometimes it goes in, sometimes it doesn't. |
It's not easy. Sometimes you get three shots in blue line and score goals. Sometimes you get empty net and you can't score. |
It's not for me. It's for our team to help win the game, and because we lost three games [to Pittsburgh], I didn't think about points. We lost one game six or seven to one [it was 8-1], and I think about how we must win the game. We win the game, and that [is] important for us right now. |
The best goal I ever scored. I just went down and shot. |
There was two second left in game. I don't know why he do it. He was disappointed we beat Toronto, I guess. |
