Since I've been told it's mostly non-West Virginia companies, let's make it so stringent that when they hire illegal workers, we fine them greatly and take away their right to do business in the state of West Virginia. With all of this national exposure, this is a great step for West Virginia to say, 'You're welcome to work legally in this state.' ... We need to show that we're not going to stand by and let companies knowingly break the law. |
