[Randle El couldn't assess the likelihood of Miller punting to him, as opposed to out of bounds.] I don't know, ... I don't think so. We'll see. |
And he made it -- again. |
Ben gave me a shot, ... He put the ball up there, and the safety couldn't find it. |
Ben made a great block to free me. I was anxious, but I calmed myself and made a great throw. |
Certainly this is a team that uses guys like me. That's what we do, use all the versatility we have on this team to get it done. |
Coach [Al] Saunders has been with Kansas City and put up amazing numbers [on offense]. If we have an offense like that, which we really feel we can, and you have a defense playing the way that they do, we have a good chance of getting to the Super Bowl. Those were the biggest things. |
Don't get ahead of yourself. You're next. |
Gene Upshaw (NFLPA executive director) is doing all he can to get the best deal for the players. And the NFL owners are trying to feel like they're not slighted in any way. There has to be an agreement sooner or later. We hope we get it done. |
He had a chance to experience some success as a very young quarterback in this league, and then he had to experience what it was like to get so close to the Super Bowl, and then lose. But he showed a lot of maturity and smarts by not letting that eat at him. I think he came back this year with his confidence through the roof, and we've seen the results. |
He has a great mind when it comes to putting together an offense and putting his talent in the right spot and giving them chances to make plays. The biggest thing is, he comes up with a great scheme every time. |
He'll be doing some big things for [the Dolphins]. I know he's got the talent down there to get it done. It means a whole lot to see him get back with someone after things didn't work out in Buffalo. There were some inside things that he didn't like, and we understand because he's not a quitter by any means. |
He's doing something right. What's this now, his 10th playoffs in 14 years? And two Super Bowls. That's Joe Gibbs-type stuff. |
He's in another world - the guy lifts weights three times a day. Three-e-e-e ... times ... a day! The guy is scary. |
He's one of the toughest wide receivers in the league. He gets it done catching, route running, throwing the blocks and everything. He's an all-around player. He goes out and works at it every year and has the ability to be even better than he's been. It goes back to being steady, being focused and every year having to prove a point. |
I can still play quarterback — I just don't have that urge I had as a rookie. But maybe when I'm too old and slow to play receiver, they'll let me play quarterback. |
