was always an edgy place, deliberately so. |
We are better than we were. We still have a long way to go. |
We are disappointed. We didn't make as many plays as them, and there is not much more I can say. |
We are excited to play. |
We are where we are. It doesn't make any difference; we've got to put everything into this week. |
We brought 45 guys here. When one man goes down, that's what the other is there for. He steps in. |
We can't do much of anything. We don't know what we're working with. Until that's defined, it seems like an exercise in futility. On the plus side, it gives us a chance to put more of our time and energy into football and known quantities instead of contracts when you don't know what the system is. |
We didn't give up 70-yard plays, |
We didn't make the plays we need to win. There's not much more to say. It's hard to win when you give the ball away. |
We didn't want to play him on defense last year. That was an emergency, desperation type of situation and of course Troy handled it wall...But he's a better receiver than he is a defensive back. |
We executed it pretty well, ... I thought we could have done all right in the 3-4. We just got off to a rocky start. |
We gave up big plays, running and passing, and that obviously hurt us, |
We got a good block at the point of attack from Graham. Neal pulled and the safety came up and filled the gap quicker than we expected. That wasn't really the guy Neal was expecting to block but he saw him in the hole and reacted to it and dug him out of there. Matt and Logan (combination-blocked) the tackle up to (middle linebacker Danny) Clark. We didn't quite get Clark blocked, he got over the top, but he wasn't able to get enough on Corey to keep him out. |
We got a lot of people an opportunity to play and you never know when that's going to be beneficial. |
We had a chance to look at a lot of our younger players. We are in a much shorter window now than you would be if you opened a week from Sunday. |
