(The Olympics) are not even on my mind, |
[Belfour] played awesome for us. |
All I asked for was to have some time to confer with my teammates before casting a vote, |
Another one of our best players goes down and (Kilger) does a great job stepping up. It was a good win for everyone. |
But I work on it every day. I shoot one-timers after each and every practice. |
He always does. Good players can do that, and he's one of those guys. |
He just lays it there and it's always in the right place and always just the right speed. I'm very fortunate to have a partner like him. |
He likes to play physical, as you all saw, ... Obviously, you don't want to see anyone get hurt, but the kid is trying to win a job. You can't hold him accountable for finishing a check out there. Everyone was in that spot once. |
He never even looks, |
He was pretty cool. A lot of them didn't grow up with hockey, but they might check it out now. |
He's the biggest thing that has happened to Canadian hockey, and for him to get his name trashed through mud is pretty sad. But he will come out clean on the other side. |
I can't say yes and I can't say no. I know my first choice would be to stay in Toronto. |
I could always shoot it hard, |
I don't really feel that stuff affects us whatsoever. |
I don't want to create waves. There was a vote, it passed, and now I just want to move ahead and play hockey. |
