It's not about winning my seventh, it's about winning their first.

Koop, I felt, was the best player on the floor except for the missed free throw. He got the ball to people and he made some plays himself.

Nobody gets position on him inside. If he's not the best post defender in the state then I don't know who is.

Since he's been a sophomore he's had to guard the top players on every team and nobody gets the best of him. And when other players on the team get beat, Tanner is always there to cover up for them.

Tanner scored five points, but that was no indication of what he did on the floor. He did everything we needed him to do to help us win. I thought Mark Walker stepped up and hit those two big threes in the first quarter to get us going.

The teams in our region know he is a shooter, but I don't know if the teams up here do.

They always are good for a run, and they brought that run at us in the third quarter. I think that when we negated that run is when the game kind of got out of hand.

They attacked the high post and hit a good little jump shot on us. When we took that away they didn't have another answer. The second quarter was key because we gave them six points.

They outplayed us today boys. I'm proud of my unit and I'll take them. We just didn't have it today in the right places and they did. We weren't executing a couple things that I felt like we needed to execute. We weren't attacking as well as I wanted to attack. We done that in the past and we've kind of grown into it. We just couldn't get the attack and then we got desperate in our attack.

They outplayed us tonight. I'm proud of my unit and what they did, but we just didn't have it in the right places.

Those are the breaks of the game and you have to play through them. We just didn't have it today in the right places, and they did.

We got some turnovers that were big. I'm sure we got the most transition hoops, but the tempo overall was set by Orem.

We ran the same play (end of regulation), but this time they covered the A gap, so Koop attacked the B gap with the dribble. Now their back forward has to choose. Is he going to take Koop or is he going to take Walker? He choose Koop and kicked it to Walker.

We still had a good chance there at the end to win, and if we would have had one more second we might have won.

We weren't executing the things that I thought we needed to execute. We weren't attacking as well as we needed to. Other times we've started that way, then grown into it. Tonight we didn't.
