Friday's meet against IUPUI gave us an opportunity to swim some events we don't typically swim, allowing for some fun prior to the tough meet against Oakland. |
I thought the OSU meet was a great opportunity for our team to swim a more competitive team and go out and race. We were challenged, and it was a help to get us ready for racing at the conference championships. Buffalo was more of a cap-off to the season where we were able to swim some different events and enjoy ourselves a bit. |
In big time situations we couldn't have asked for better competitors. |
Individually, I hope to be able to improve on my performances from both last year and this season and do my part in helping the team. |
It was a tough loss. For the older team members, it was the first loss they've ever had. It was for sure disappointing, but looking past and getting runner-up at the meet we had a lot of younger guys pull through big for us, diving especially. |
My goal for both individual and team is: keep improving. It's hard to not get caught up in the routine of being considered the top of the MAC. We always need to make ourselves better and strive for the next tier of competitiveness. Never be satisfied. |
My goal for the Championship changed a lot from being less personal accomplishment to more team driven, but unfortunately we fell just short of that goal. |
The false start on the relay was like throwing a hurdle in our path, a rather large one, but it only served to present us with a bigger challenge than anything else. |
The team has a lot of work still ahead of them even though the season is over. We've got some big recruiting weekends coming up. |
