Thank God we're not playing .

That was our No.1 goal today, just come out and give him support, which we didn't do before. That's what's good about our team: we don't leave a guy behind. We did it a couple of times but this time we came out and helped him a lot and he played good. And that feels good.

The games are getting tougher and tougher. We have to respond. We've played well all season and now people expect us to win.

We all are responsible. We all should help him.

We came into the game and tried to wait and see what happened, ... But when we were down by one goal in the third period, we came out and said, 'We have nothing to lose.'

We cannot just go and try to play finesse hockey. We know that to win the hockey game, we have to sometimes play as a team. We all help each other and we all support each other. I think we've been playing good because of that.

We did things hockey players don't ordinarily do, but all the guys took it well. It was very physical. Imagine pushing an 8,000-pound car uphill. I think it made us closer. You learn a lot about each other. Nobody quit. You're not ashamed to look each other in the eye after that.

We have to be more gritty, more hitting. We probably have to play much simpler hockey.

We know that some of the people want us to, not choke, but fail because they predicted our team to not be good this year. But we, as a team, know that. And we can't let ourselves down.

We play to win the Stanley Cup. Failure in the playoffs ? I count that as not a good season.

We see we can do that and that's pretty big for our team to see how we can play. It's just one game, but it's a good beginning.

We want to have a gold medal. That's what we want. And when we win that, then we're going to remember we beat Canada.

We want to show that we can compete with the good teams and we can be there and we're (in this position) not by accident. I think tonight's game proved it, that we can play at a high level.

We were going into the game and we didn't know how our team was going to look, except we knew that we were going to work hard,

We're all frustrated. When the game was over, you want to go after the referee - you want to go after anybody - because it hurts. We just have to stay positive and get our confidence back.
