 I hope we can do well again this year. Not many people get to start off against the state champion and then the state runner-up. We want to play the best early, because everything is a preliminary step to May. I'm like a teacher giving a diagnostic test to my students. The first four weeks could be up in the air as far as a starting lineup. We have a plan, but sometimes those things can change. If things are going well, we'll stick with what we're doing. If not, we'll make some changes. We've got that flexibility. |
| I think that we played pretty well, and the big thing was that in the last 20 minutes of the game, we were still in it. We were down 2-0, but we were still playing hard. I don't think that I could have picked a better game to start with. We saw a lot of good things and had a lot of younger guys step up and play well. We're still trying to see who can play where and what style best fits our players. |
