The Eastern Bank Charitable Foundation came through with a $10,000 check to hire a program coordinator to coordinate our various activities and write a grant proposal. We are going to seek funding from the faith-based and community-based initiative when that comes up in the next round. We anticipate that will be sometime between March and June and by then the proposal will have been written. Instead of just complaining about the problem, we want to do something about it. Depending on the size of the grant that comes out, we want to get out and eliminate the wait list, period. |
