I just love the game, ... I love being out there with those guys. |
I just tried to protect the ball, ... I knew they were blitzing, I looked at my first and second read and I knew I was about to get hit, so I just tried to protect the ball. |
I kind of see the NFC East to be what everyone expected it to be last year, |
I know about his work ethic and the way he approaches games, |
I know them, ... The comfort levels are at a high right now where no matter what plays that we call, we're (confident) we will be able to execute it. |
I look forward to playing every game this year, |
I love this game too much, ... As hard as it is with what we're going through right now, it would be even harder sitting on that sideline and feeling like you're not a part. When you do that, it seems that you're just throwing in the towel, and my towel is still folded up, sitting on the chair. |
I might just kind of run out there with no jersey on and be ready for the ladies, |
I saw T.O. peeling away from the defender. I tried to put the ball in a position where he could run through it. He did an excellent job and was great after the catch. |
I saw the mismatch with T.O. to the outside and I decided to take it. I tried to put it in a decent spot and he did an excellent job accelerating to the ball. |

I still to this day see no reason for us to talk. When we step on this field, it's all about business. We're professionals that line up and do the right thing. |
I think [the team chemistry issue will] take care of itself. I don't think it something where myself or any other leaders on the team should try to put too much pressure on his shoulders. I think what we have to do is set good examples. Once he begins to realize that we're all in this together, things will begin to pan out. |
I think first you have to be mentally strong, |
I think it gives you a little bit more push going in, realizing that if we go out and just do our jobs and do it the way our teammates expect, good things can happen. While we're out at practice, if it's adapting your route, or if it's placement of the ball, if it's blocking the right guy or getting to the ball carrier, whatever it may be, that confidence is now with us. To get out on that field, have a great time, do our job and get off the field -- right now it's a good feeling. |
