I hope that 9/11 has grouped us as one, and in doing so it has united us. Perhaps as a unit we can help each other get ahead, survive and succeed in this free world. And hey guys, let's not forget out manners!! |
I think its really matured a lot. I like the fact that there is now more to do there than gamble, since I don't do a lot of that. The people are great. I seldom have time for vacations and when I do I prefer the beach instead of the desert. |
I think that 9/11 is a greater loss if we do not change our behavior in some way. I think that if we don't turn it into a positive change in some way, those innocent people really died for no purpose. I would like to think they had some important purpose. What I see, that I don't like, is the product of what our land of opportunity can breed. |
I'm not sure that the meek will inherit the earth. I don't know if it is the community I'm in or the lack of time we seem to have in today's world, but I often see aggressive people with no time for anybody and the desire to get ahead in the work force, with no regard to anyone else. |
It seems to be changing into an "every man for himself" world. The world is so competitive that things like manners, and kindness are eliminated. Have you noticed how many people don't let you in on the freeway ramp? |
put our housing program on the map. |
Whereas one year you might build slightly ahead of the market, the next year when construction is down, your population continues to grow. |
