Erin isn't a back-to-the-basket player at the next level. She can face the basket and shoot it. She did a few more things as a senior than during the early stages of her Providence career. I think she has just scratched the surface in terms of her overall development. Coach Hallberg will certainly help her develop as an all-around player. |
Erin will have an MRI and we'll just pray for the best. But once the trainer gave the word there was no way she was going to come back in and risk anything else. She's our leader and it was tough on the girls to see that. |
How about that No. 10. Can she shoot the ball or what? And we knew it. We knew it. That's pretty scary. |
I'm just delighted with the way this has turned out. |
No matter what happens offensively, Erin puts a lot of pressure on herself as far as scoring points. I keep telling her, 'Rebound, play defense and good things will happen.' She did and the girls did, and Erin played real tough. |
We did some really good things to get the lead, but in the back of my mind all night long, I had a whole bunch of respect for them. There's a reason they're the second seed; you don't get that for nothing. They're stud athletes, great players, and I knew they would come back. |
