Roll hit two big threes that hurt us. It was a tale of two halves. We played a fantastic first half that was some of the best defense we have played, but we didn't have the legs in the second half and didn't match their intensity. I think we were worn down a little bit.

We were just fantastic in the first half and expended a lot of energy being fantastic. That's some of the best defense we've played to take a good team like that and shut them down.

He's had two back-to-back phenomenal games, to score like that and with no turnovers. I thought he was great.

On a personal note, my family and I have gone through some difficult times that we continue to work through. I ask for respect from the community, all Oregon basketball fans and the news media to allow my family to work through these matters privately.

We were focused on locking down their guards. Our bigger focus was to shut down their guards.

What a gutsy performance. I can't say enough about how they battled.

It ended on an up note because of how we played in the tournament. However, when you look back at the season on a whole a lot of games that could have been won that we let get away, that could have gotten us into the (NCAA) tournament.

For us, it's move forward. If he comes back it will be a plus for us.

If we can carry that over into the spring and summer, and take it into next season, that's the team we want to be looking at when we're playing next year.

I would expect both of those kids to help us. To what extent, I won't know until we get them here.

He's such a streaky shooter who can get on a rhythm, so I don't think anybody on this team feared him continuing to take shots. We knew at some point in time, he was going to get going.

This is the right move for him, and that's why I give him my blessing.

We're already under way with recruiting to add another player to the program, and I feel we will be able to do that.

But from the perspective of a dad, I soul-searched and said to myself, here was someone who's very gifted and wants to try something.
