We had several breakdowns where the players didn't execute the defense that was called. |
We had some chances to make some big plays, |
We have a lot of confidence in Shaun Carney's passing ability and his running ability and the way he executes our offense, ... Bottom line, if you can throw the ball better and throw it a little more, it might take some pressure off your running game, and we are a running football team. |
We have to play for 60 minutes. Adam Fitch gave us a spark, and we made a run at them. |
We just want to win a football game. You got to face reality of where we are. We're playing right now for the pride of the academy, the lightning bolts we proudly wear on the side of our helmets, for a winning season and position in the conference. I don't know anymore that you can play for. |
We prepared very well and I thought our guys were ready to play, ... Obviously, TCU was ready to play and they played a fine football game. |

We've been throwing the football. In three out of the four games, we've rushed for over 200 yards and passed for over 200 yards. |
What was disappointing for our football team was the number of penalties we got. It was very, very uncharacteristic of Falcon football. Penalties will take away your momentum quicker than anything in the world. |
When the challenges come up, it doesn't concern me one bit, because I know it ain't going to go in our favor. |
When you add all that up we just got an old fanny kicking. Some nights, I guess if you play this game long enough, you're going to have night when the other team is just better than you are. That's the only way you can look at this game. |
you don't see many minority athletes in our program. |
You have to give TCU credit, they're a fine team, ... I'm sorry we weren't more of a competitive team for them today. |
You know what's interesting? There is a much higher percentage of African-Americans at the speed positions than there is in society as a whole. I wonder if that's genetic, or mostly genetic. |
You look now, and we've got pretty good balance in what we are doing. I remember when Colorado State had some real good teams up there with (former Rams quarterback Moses) Moreno and all those guys. There wasn't 10 yards difference between their rushing and passing. It really makes it tough on a defense to prepare for that kind of balance from an offensive team, so I hope this will be a problem for Wyoming. |
