In Saturday's playoff game against (Washington) when he ran to his left and he did the whirlybird and threw it downfield? That's what he used to do. It hasn't happened this year since that first game in Jacksonville. Those things are virtually gone. |
It's a big factor because you don't play against it every week. At the same time, we have played against it some. |
It's a bunch of crap. |
It's a great opportunity for those young men to play. You start with Spencer at center, Weaver at fullback, Mo Morris, especially Seneca. Those are good backups. Those guys could start on most teams. So we're in great shape. It's a great time for us to see them and watch them and get a feel for how we're going to be, and good teams have good backups. |
Mike and I still talk about all of us going down to the Tennessee Grill on Saturday mornings for breakfast if we had enough money. And then we'd go scout Serra on Saturday afternoon. |
Mike pushed it and I appreciate that. I've always wanted the opportunity. I'd love to. |
Most of them we've run all year. But a few are new. |
That's a good question. The tight end might play a little bigger role. I'm not saying he will, but it's possible. |
They are built defense first. We are built offense first. |
They are built defensively first, and we are built offensively first. So that's a hell of a battle right there. |

This is a real credit to Mr. Allen. (And) to Tim and to Mike to be able to hold this thing together keep these good players together. |
This is going to be a vicious, violent football game, and the best team will win. |
We should be able to adjust. But they're very different in what they do. These guys have better players than other 3-4 teams. But I'm confident going in we'll be able to handle what they're doing. |
