While New Orleans needs money, at this point it desperately needs volunteers to help the hundreds of thousands of people who don't have the resources to get carpenters and contractors to fix their houses. They need motivated college students. |
You really feel a connection to the work you're doing because you meet the people you're helping and for the most part they're working alongside you. |
You're living in tents. You're basically working from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep. It's one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. |
