 We talked before the season how we wanted other teams to look at us. What do we want our opponent to think about us? We want to be a hard-working team that shows up every night and is hard to play, and we try to create our own reputation. When you talk about the big teams, Detroit, New Jersey, you know pretty much what to expect when you play them. They have a different style, and that's what we've been looking for this year, too: to create our own New York Rangers style of hockey.

 We want to show everybody we're a team playing for the playoffs. Why not? We know we can beat any team in the league.

 We were really playing with good speed today. At times, it looked like they were standing still. Once we got up by a few goals, it looked as if they stopped playing.

 We work really hard on the (penalty kill). We got a lot of energy from that goal. The special teams were the key today, that's for sure.

 We'll all be in the locker room, about to go on the ice, and they'll be telling jokes. I can't understand what they're saying, but I start laughing.

 We've got a game early the next day and we talked about it and it was decided the best thing was getting the rest.

 Well, it's a short bus ride, so that's good. It's going to be fun. It's going to be very intense to play against them.

 When I'm resting, it keeps me motivated to win. Sometimes, if you're not winning and you get a game off, it really focuses you when you come back.

 When they shoot form the middle they have so many options, it can hit someone. It's easier when we let them shoot from the sides. There's more time to see the puck easier. We talked about it to pressure harder and pressure at the right times and I think that's the key right now.

 When we got out there, I think you could tell from watching us play that we were really focused and we really wanted to tie this game.

 When you jump into a game like this and you are down two goals, you have nothing to lose.

 When you see him lift the Cup you want to be there yourself. You wanna lift that Cup so badly. That's why you're here. If you want to play in the NHL, you want to win that Cup, especially for a club like the Rangers who haven't won that many times and the fans are so into hockey. You really want to win for them ? that's just a feeling you have. You want to play for the fans.
