I had a few opportunities at the beginning when he took over Minardi to meet him. I will not miss him.

I think we already did one step forward with the engine. I think we've understood quite a lot of things. That's why the factory has been working quite hard and it's been positive.

If Ferrari needed him and found him available, the answer is yes. He's very strong, he never complains, he doesn't blame others if he loses.

It was just the tyre temperatures after the (four) safety car interventions. We didn't have enough temperature. With this kind of tyre, we need to have much more temperature. We lose grip. Without temperature we don't have grip, we don't have the right pressure.

Maybe that extra bit would have been enough to stay ahead.

Michael is normally quite cool, but the way he reacted is quite significant, ... He missed an opportunity, and we know that we haven't had so many opportunities this year.

Michael will need to relax after a frustrating season. That's why I really hope we will finish in a better situation because it gives you morale to start the next one.

More running on Friday would definitely have helped. We only used one specification of tyre on Friday, thinking we would do the job (of testing the other specification) when the track would have been less green on Saturday. Unfortunately, we couldn't do it. You always learn.

Normally I don't answer the phone on the pit wall. But it was vibrating in my pocket, so after awhile I said, OK, let's see who it is, maybe it's good advice to win the race,
