I was concerned with him lugging in there and 'would he rate'? He struggled a bit with the track, but it didn't surprise me. He is a big, heavy horse. He came home a little slow, but they went pretty fast in the earlier part. |
I was pretty confident all the way around. |
I was skeptical heading into the Alabama because of the distance and the competition then she handled with ease. She's pretty easy to ride. She doesn't drop out the back and she could've been a little closer in the Alabama had I wanted, but I thought the pace being what it was that I would just tuck in. She presents no problem for a rider. |

It is with great emotion that I am announcing my retirement as a jockey in the sport of horse racing. Thoroughbred racing has enriched my life beyond my wildest dreams. |
It won't be easy, ... but I think on his game Saint Liam is better than the rest. |
It's access to markets, |
It's wonderful to do these kinds of races. |
