If you're running a convenience store or maybe even a small manufacturing facility, you may be employing a lot of young people in high school who don't need all of the coverage mandated by the state. Different businesses have different needs. We hope there can be a move away from this one-size-fits-all health coverage. |
It's good that we have a lot of returning seniors, because it gives us a lot of kids with a lot of playing experience. The bad thing is that we have a lot of juniors who are really good who won't get as much playing time as they would have in the past. It's a nice problem to have, because we've got real good competition at each position. |

Over the last few years when we played (in the postseason), then Wilmington and North Andover this year in Division 2A, there were three leagues from the South and the Cape Ann League, and only one from the North. It would be nice to see the CAL and NEC go at it in the playoffs. I'm sure they'll be playing it locally and it will get a great crowd. |
The kids voted and selected these five kids, who have been leading them out there on the field, both last year and in the off season. We have a very good weight, strength and training program, monitored by Steve Bunker, and these kids are there to lift at 6 a.m. for the past three years now. This is a dedicated group. |
