As time goes on, guys are going to start realizing that we can stay in games. Hopefully that will transpire into getting more and more experience with it so that late in games, we can hold onto those victories that we should win.

Be who you are. If you're comfortable leading, you're comfortable. And if you're not, it's OK.

Danny was going to get most of the playing time anyway. He was ready to be the everyday second baseman.

Derek Jeter, in his rookie year, put up numbers comparable to the rest of his career. Not exactly the same. But comparable. Check it out.

Don't accept being the fourth or fifth outfielder. Don't accept being the long relief. Push each other. Take someone's job.

Don't read too much into that. I wouldn't make too much out of that.

Eric gives us a little more speed, and with the way Hanley goes to right field, it can be a pretty good combination.

Every hitter has holes in his swing. Some holes are smaller than others. When pitchers figure Jacobs out, he will have to make the changes.

Everything we heard about him, he's a complete player. There wasn't really anything he couldn't do. He's done a lot of great things in camp. But so did Robert. Robert did a lot of great things. It was really hard sending Robert down today.

Everything we've seen from him this spring has been a positive.
