It's like being part of an extended family. My own personal relationship with God and Christ has improved. Now that I'm a member of the church, (my faith) has taken on shape. I can phrase it in words and think of it in concrete terms. Weekly worship reinforces that. |
We're almost conditioned as gay people that the church means the Christian Right and the anti-gay sentiment. We don't even consider church as a possibility for us. |
