I really hope I end up being him when I am 42, ... It's incredible what he is doing out there. |
I've been playing the power play the last 10 or 12 games and you'd think you'd get a goal or two there, but I just haven't been getting the chances. I think that eventually I'll be able to score in this league, but it's not there right now. It's not too big a concern for me, personally. |
I've proven to myself that I can score at the pro level, but it is just the AHL, ... I have no idea if I will be able to do it in the NHL. We'll see. There is an outside chance I could make it if I play really well (during camp). |
In Montreal, it was just after the lockout and right at the start of the year. Everybody was excited. Both teams were looking out at the playoffs. |
It still looks like a long shot, but it has been a lot of fun. It really feels like we're a (close) group now. |
It's definitely a black eye. It's tough for anybody who played there. |
It's definitely sad, especially being from that city, |
It's definitely sad, especially being from that city. It is a black eye. (But) you see it and you hear about it. All the things (teams) do is not in the public eye, but if people start speaking out, you will hear it from everybody that it always has been going on. |
It's hard to get going. It's a process to find your touch around the net again. |
Mentally, we weren't very good. This wasn't very good. |
That's not a play that should be in hockey. You can definitely hurt somebody worse than I was hurt. |
They definitely have been taking their shots at us. Our star players have taken a few lumps against them. But we'll take the wins every time and not worry about that. |
We battled them all night. It was a low scoring game and that's how we like it. |
We definitely count this as a loss. We wanted a win before heading out on a three-game road trip. |
We sure owed Eddie after the five losses. |
