She wouldn't see me. She kept me waiting for hours in a room with other people who were waiting for her. Somebody said, 'She's watching television.' I thought, this is like my old life with her, and I left. And I went back and I said to my husband, 'I'm not gonna ever go anywhere to try to help her out again, no matter what, unless she's straight and she calls and she asks. |
She's dealing with a serious drug addiction and trying to get through it. It's not my unwillingness to reconnect, but she's not ready. Maybe when she's on the road to recovery. |
