Tony will continue to referee major fights. We usually change officials (for rematches). Boxing is a tough sport, and we're saddened because what happened with Johnson was a horrible situation.

Everybody reacted properly, including Michael Buffer. He was very good at trying to calm the crowd. I thought between Richard and my inspectors and the police, everybody did what they did to stop it immediately before anyone got hurt. If there hadn't been a proper reaction it could have turned into a horrible, horrible thing.

(Roger Mayweather) clearly committed a foul, that's why he's suspended. We could revoke his license temporarily; we could revoke it permanently. That's why we want to review the tapes.

The referee did everything right. We discussed (the possibility of halting it immediately), and I believe he made the right decision.

We're in the process of getting all of the tapes (of the fight) shown from all different angles. We're going to watch those tapes as soon as we get them and see who was in the ring and who did what. Roger will appear before us for a disciplinary hearing. Things will be adjudicated at that time.

The police did a marvelous job. So did (ring announcer) Michael Buffer. He kept everybody calm. He told everyone to stay in their seats and that everything was under control.

We have made it a sport now. That was a key for me, to make it with rules. It's been remarkable, the last five years, the way it has blossomed.

I like the ceremonial part of it and the tradition.
