First and foremost I'd like to stay here in Atlanta. I owe a lot to Donnie for giving me an opportunity and Coach Hartley for believing in me so this is the place that's first on my list.

For most people this was a message and it was an easy message to send. It didn't have any consequence to it.

For sure, (Thrashers) coach (Bob) Hartley has given me a chance and that's what he expected from me this summer and I think I did that. And I think it has a lot to do with my play, I feel a lot better out there and I'm logging a lot of minutes.

For sure, it's been a great situation here from Day 1. Coach Hartley put the ball in my court and he's the best coach I've ever had. (Thrashers GM) Donnie (Waddell) got me in here and I thank him a lot for that, too. It's been real good.

He wants nobody to his left and that's where he needs to be. I'm not going to deny that there's a lot of frustration and anger with this war. War is not an easy process.

I didn't know that it went in at first, but then the crowd went dead silent.

I'd like to be back here, but that's up to management. We'll see what happens.

It hurts a lot. We know we've got to try and win every game and we knew had a lot of guys out. (But) we got into penalty trouble and it hurt.

It wasn't him at all, obviously it was the coach and I who didn't see eye to eye. I was a healthy scratch and it was time to move on. But Craig was great about everything, he'd call me into his office and kept saying every time: 'I don't want to trade you, I don't want to trade you.' It was tough, but it had to be done.

It's the first time I've seen him, and he looked pretty good. He made some big saves.

Late there, it didn't look good. I think we still can play better, and that's good news for us.

Mentally, it's tough. We battled so hard every night. To come up short is really draining. Every guy gave it all he had. We really wanted to make the playoffs.

Our goalie came up with some big saves.

That was a game we were in. The score is not indicative of the whole game.
