The scores will always fluctuate depending on the judging panels and we had some balance issues tonight. But we fought through them and that was great to see. We've been training like we are competing and that's great. We focused tonight on one event at a time, one routine at a time.

Sounds like everybody has the radio on, I catch bits and pieces from building to building.

They work harder than most adults. Everyone is a Christian. They know what they are doing is pleasing to God.

David threw real well for four-plus innings, but then he got a nose bleed and he was getting up in his pitches a little bit so we pulled him out.

This will be both an interesting and exciting meet. It will have a different feel and flow.

We?re definitely gaining momentum as we go through the season. We?re actually getting better and we?re a lot more focused and consistent.

He really threw well. He threw a lot of pitches there. He just hung in there. Our defense is still struggling a little bit. We had those errors and acted like we wanted to give it to them. We tried everything we could to give it to them.

They let us off with one there. We were lucky. Our bats came around for us in the late innings and that helped us out a little.

We wanted the Regional in hopes of putting ourselves in the best position possible to go to the national meet. We have a hard competition ahead of us, but we're poised to go out there and do the best job possible and see what happens.

We're looking now at Oct. 6.

Williamson A.M. will celebrate its 10th anniversary this fall, and the community weeklies serving Brentwood-Nolensville, Franklin and the rural county and Spring Hill-Thompson's Station will be two years old. All are evolving and we hope to continue to get better at serving our audience groups and the greater community interest through them.

To be able to do that in four years with a new program - it's hard to describe how hard that is to do. It'd be like making the Final Four in basketball with only five years of existence. It's that hard. But it's always a possibility in sports. Anything is possible.

If you do all the right things, whatever happens, happens.

This is a culmination of a lot of teams' seasons, and we're excited for our community, our university, our team and our fans.

We're familiar with the two teams, and it's a comfortable environment to have the two teams that we know really well. Neither one is going to fold under pressure and we are going to have to step up and take our best shot.
