Don't give Roe the card. |
I am very proud that I have not lost my card in 20 years. There are not many of us in our 40s with a card or have the 500 milestone. I can't rest on my laurels. Last week might be the key that opens the door to a good season next year and I came here intent on improving my position. |

I changed my putter, went rummaging around in the garage and pulled the old one out as I felt a change was as good as a rest and it worked nicely, ... When I pulled this out, as soon as I got it in my hands it was like an old friend. It just swung differently, the balance was better and it stayed on line better when I made my stroke. I thought why did I ever get rid of it in the first place. |

I think it's a great move, ... I'm really, really pleased that something good has come from my mistake, really. I'd like to think that the way I handled it at the time, and what I went through, was probably a small factor in their decision to look at it. |
I was told it was hilly, but I wasn't told I needed mountaineering gear, |
I've never lost my card in 20 years and I'm very proud I can say that at the age of 42, |
It was great ... anytime you do that in the face of your season it's totally remarkable: it shows character. |
People should certainly keep their nose out of it because doing anything else is a distraction that could put people in danger. |
That was hard work. It's pleasant on reflection, but not when you are doing it. |
The one I had been using was letting me down so badly I drove my Porsche over it so it didn't have a chance of coming back. |
The opportunity I had at Sandwich would have changed my life if I'd played well enough. It was an unfortunate thing but you abide by the rules. |
