Him hurt doesn't help us, but we're trying to get every-thing we can out of him, and he's trying to give us everything he has.

I knew that we were getting an outstanding defensive player, ... His hitting we weren't so sure about. But defense is what we needed most.

If he blew it out today (Fri-day), we might lose him for the whole series. We tried to give him a rest and use him sparingly after today.

In my mind, it?s the Jersey series that got us going,

It would've been nice to come out (of Worcester) 2-0. We had a chance to be 2-0, but they had some big hits late in the game. But it's great to be back at home, and we get to win this series at home. If we win two of three, we get to play for the championship.

It?s disappointing. Of course, it?s disappointing. But I?m proud of these guys, every one of them.

Junior's a little banged up. His hamstring is bothering him again. So Steg (Keith Stegbauer) will be at third and (Jeff) Brooks will be the DH.

Roe is their guy. Without him, they struggle.

That was tough, but we split the series and you have to be happy with that knowing you?re going back home for three games.

To me, anybody who would cut those two guys would have to be out of their minds.
