I got about six hours sleep. For me, it was normal playoffs sleep. You never sleep much longer than that anyway with the game playing in your head.

I haven't analyzed those series very thoroughly because of the work that we have in front of us,

I just know that in Southern California, the way that championship was received was absolutely along the lines of what we saw in Boston,

I just saw Steve last winter when his son was pitching against my son. Everything was looking up for him and he looked great. It makes you numb when you hear about a situation like this. He had a roller-coaster ride.

I know I've never run into anyone that not only is as versatile as he is, but brings such a level of play at so many positions.

I think he looks very smooth back there, and it's obvious that he works well with the pitching staff. He's mobile, he's got a quick release, and I think his arm is solid.

I think he was right early like he was in Seattle. He was right early, but the ability to carry that over and repeat pitches, he has had trouble with. He is overthrowing a bit.

I think he's comfortable here. I know last hear he struggled and gave up some big numbers on the road early, and maybe that's skewed some of his stats. But eventually, it's not going to matter where this guy pitches. He's got the makeup and ability to pitch in any environment and make his pitches.

I think his stuff was good and he was the guy that we really needed to get out of that jam and finish the inning for us. Unfortunately they grabbed the lead and they held it there.

I think if you looked at Jon Garland's chart tonight, I'd be surprised if he missed with a dozen pitches, ... It might have been one of the top couple games we've had pitched against us all year.
