Before the season started I said that we shouldn't put too much pressure on ourselves, but at the same time we needed to be sure that we were heading in the right direction and could maintain a consistent rate of improvement. And that's certainly been the case in the first three races of the season. The team collected its first points in Malaysia and in Australia we finished fourth and sixth. On both occasions we showed good race pace. |
For me, the Malaysian Grand Prix is unusual mainly for its high temperatures and extreme humidity. Basically I don't have a problem with that. |
I am really happy about this result. I think it's fantastic for a new team having both cars in the points, especially considering where Jacques started. |
I could have out-braked him, but he didn't leave me any space and pushed me on to the grass, where braking is obviously impossible |
I don't think we will be in the top four teams. |
I won't be able to start the next Formula One race. |
I'm not expecting a miracle during the first season after a new start in 2006. But I'm confident that the new team will be successful over the long term. |
It seems to have noticeably more grip than its predecessor. |
It's a disaster for Formula One in the States [on the farcical 2005 GP] |
It's such a mess, |
This season's Australian Grand Prix will certainly have a rather different feel about it. To start with, the race has been put back due to the Commonwealth Games, so there won't be that extra buzz you get when it's the first race of the season. |
We will probably be in with that group. |
