Once you become linked with any government, you become a target of the government that follows it. They go after your factories, your house, your family. You can't have stability if people are running around burning things down every two or three years. It's just impossible. |

People can have the mentality, the mindset and basically you can't change that. But what we can . . . establish some form of relationship so people can see that everybody is able and capable of helping each other. We have to work together to make that happen. |
The candidates also know we have experience of democracy, those of us who live here. We know what to listen for. We know if anything they're saying makes sense. So they come here and they try to convince us, so we'll call our families back home and tell them how to vote. |
There are a lot of people in this situation. It's a crisis. |
