It was a tough game for both teams, because we were both coming back from spring break. I'm very proud of the way we played. We hit the ball well, ran the bases well and executed some nice squeeze plays. We also hit for some power. |
Let me tell you, having a one-two punch with those two, that's been amazing this year. |
Overall I was very proud of the way that we hit the ball, we just can't strand people like we did today. |
She had a couple of pitches working tonight that she hasn't had so far this season. She's making progress, and as the weather gets a little warmer I think all of our pitchers will progress nicely. |
She threw an exceptional game. I also thought the defense did good behind her. |
She's exceptionally quick and extremely knowledgeable. She gets a great jump on the ball and is very aggressive. We're happy that Henderson State saw in Bailey what we've seen for four years. |
That was a phenomenal catch. Bailey is a great ball player, because she caught that ball and had a couple of big hits at the plate. |
These kids enjoy playing the game and they enjoy playing it together. Playing well and having fun go together. |
This time of the year we look at it one game at a time. We have the advantage of playing at home and we enjoy playing at our field. But Prairie Grove is a good team and it is very explosive. |
We came out and hit the ball extremely well today. Overall, I was very pleased. You hit the ball like that, and put 12 runs on the board against a team like (Elkins), I was very proud of them. |
We faced a kid last night that threw different than what we saw tonight, so we had to make some adjustments. |
We go all out for our seniors with a celebration between the games. |
We had a great practice yesterday. Very intense two hours yesterday, a lot of situational softball. It ended with batting practice and you can just tell that they're figuring some things out. |
We hit the ball very well. The bottom of the lineup came through. We finally just started hitting line drives. |
We made some adjustments and they understood what they needed to do. Things were executed well. |
