I think your school is definitely serviceable. I've seen a lot worse. This school has an odor more pronounced than most I've been in. |
Overall, the mold concentrations in all the dust samples were at levels that would be expected in school buildings. We did not notice any conditions that would preclude the building from being used for its intended purpose as far as any significant health risks. |
The first would be odor reduction. Odor is a comfort issue. We describe this as a nuisance odor. People react to odors differently. ... It doesn't necessarily mean there's a health effect but it does affect comfort within the building. |

When I walked into the building I did notice the odor primarily in the north end of the building and somewhat in the center area. I did not notice it in the south area or the east area and slightly in the auditorium, not as much as other people had reported on the day of the survey. Obviously odors change over time. |
