I think you're going to see companies maintain satellite offices there, certainly because New Orleans geographically is closer to a lot of the work in the Gulf of Mexico. But as a location for headquarters, it's a similar situation from what you've seen in Tulsa, Dallas and Denver. A lot of these companies have relocated here. |
My feeling is it's far too fragmented a business for them to have any success finding any predatory pricing, collusion or a gentleman's agreement. The reality is California does not produce enough gasoline within its borders to satisfy demand. |
There's a concentration of companies within the industry moving here. I think it's just a continuation of a trend. |
