Being in San Jose, competing before family and friends, is going to help me, |
Everyone's psyched about the final stop and looking forward to it. I think this tour has gone very well in its first year. We've been pretty well received in most cities and the television coverage has been just amazing. |
I definitely wanted to get a solid first run and try new stuff in the second run, |
In the points standings, I'm kind of far out but, if I ride well and someone else messes up, then anything's possible, ... It would have to be a crazy situation for those guys ahead of me to really mess up, but you never know. |
It's pretty awesome, ... It's pretty serious. Other sports have their own tours, like NASCAR and golf; now we have one of our own. Plus we're getting a lot of TV coverage. |
That, ... is a lot of money. |
There are so many expectations, that I think that creates so much pressure to perform and it hurts a little. |
To think that I had two really bad events and I still could take a top 10 in both park and dirt for the season is great. I'm psyched about that, but you still kind of look at it as 'What if?' Maybe next year will be better for me. Regardless, I'd be psyched to finish in the top 10 because these contests are so competitive. |
With athletes like Dave Mirra in the competition I couldn't just sit back, I had to go for it. It was a rough start to the season, I'm happy to finally have my first win on the Tour. |
